Agreement

By using Folkslip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Folkslip does

Folkslip connects to your Gmail account with your permission, scans for receipt emails, and extracts structured data like amounts, dates, and provider names. We support receipts from any provider: subscriptions, online orders, travel, food delivery, invoices, and more.

Your account

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account.
  • You are responsible for the accounts you connect and the data accessed through them.
  • You may connect multiple Gmail accounts to scan receipts across all of them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service beyond its intended functionality.

Data accuracy

Folkslip uses AI to parse receipts. While we strive for accuracy, extracted data may occasionally contain errors. You should verify important financial information independently. We are not liable for decisions made based on parsed receipt data.

Availability

We aim to keep Folkslip available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

Intellectual property

Folkslip is a product of Folksoft Oy. The service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Folksoft Oy. Your receipt data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it.

Termination

You can stop using Folkslip at any time by disconnecting your accounts and requesting deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

Folkslip is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
